Small Dogs Make Fantastic Company

About 2 years ago I saw an advertisement for a puppy and a shock went through me. You know that kind of feeling that says 'this puppy and I are going to be the best of friends'. Needless to say I enquired and was told the puppy was a chihuahua x pappillion. It really didn't matter what breed the puppy was it was just a case of love at first sight. I remember the night we bought her home. She was named Pippen and was the cutest little soul. As light as a feather and fitted snugly into my palm. The family she had left behind were going to miss her and the last advice they gave was to point out that Pippen had slept with them and they didn't want her to be lonely at night in her new home. I assured them Pippen would sleep with me and I would never let her be lonely.
